Ice Show Update

1) Schedule for dress rehearsals - see volunteers below 

2) Picture Day Schedule
- Arrive 20 minutes early with hair and make up done.  Don't forget to bring your skates.
- Each member will get a group picture taken with their group(s) - All members of the group need to be there before the picture - so you NEED to be on time.
- Soloist will get a soloist and group picture

3) Advertising
- Please help us spread the word of the show to your family and friends
- Please send the attached poster to friends and family.  Please post this on your social media
- Please put up Ice Show Posters in your neighborhood.  The posters are in the coaches room

4) Sponsorship
- We have raised $11,825. Our goal is $15,000
- If you have secured a sponsor but have not received the logo - please get this ASAP so we can include this in our program
- We have kept our costs down this year by including picture into the costs. 
- Our ask is each family secures at least one sponsorship by February 10, 2023 For any family that has not secured a sponsor by that date, a $50 invoice will be created on your Uplifter account.  If you choose to opt out of securing sponsorship and would like to pay $50, please email iceshowsponsors@sungodskatingclub.com and an invoice will be created on your Uplifter account.   You will then be able to login and make the payment.

5) Volunteer
- Thank you so much to so many of you that have put hours into helping organize the Ice Show
- On Saturday, February 11th from 9am-12pm, we will be having our Ice Show Picture Day.  We need 10 volunteers to do 3 hours shifts – 4 people to assist with ‘Check-In’ & 6 people to act as ‘Runners’.  We greatly appreciate your help to have this run smoothly as it will be a very busy morning.
- Watch for more positions in the near future for the upcoming Rehearsal & 2 Ice Shows.
- If you can sew, we need you.  Please contact Denise Reid, Ice Show Chair at Degreaser@telus.net 
There is only 5 weeks to go!!! Let's all work together to make this event a tremendous success.  Thank you to so many of you that have put in so many hours already!

 

A full schedule of group times times and requirements for the dress rehearsal on the 03rd March will be coming out next month. CanSkate and Academy skaters will be required to attend a maximum of 2 hours during the rehearsal and Junior, Intermediate, and Senior skaters may be required for longer time slots. We will endeavour to put the CanSkate and younger skaters on the earlier time slots for this rehearsal. Please watch for future communications regarding the rehearsal as your assistance with this part of the production is also very important.
